SPOT Satelitte GPS Messenger

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of SPOT. All opinions are 100% mine.

The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger provides a vital line of communication with friends and family when you want it, and emergency assistance when you need it. Using 100% satellite technology, SPOT works virtually anywhere in the world, even where cell phones don’t – all with the push of a button.

The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger is great for people who are off the cell grid and want to be able to call for help if they get into trouble. Avid campers, hikers, outdoor adventurers, etc. would find great use for it. I know as a GeoCacher this would be a pretty helpful tool, you just never know when something will happen. It always seems that cell coverage is gone when that" something" does happen!

Right now, for the holiday season, if you buy the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger you receive a bonus adventure kit worth $50. The kit includes a coupon for 15% off Basic Service, flotation case for SPOT, micro LED flashlight, safety tips bandana, lanyard, safety whistle and a carabineer keychain. This is such an aweome bonus! Lots of very useful items. If you're thinking about getting it, now would be a great time so you can take advantage of the bonus adventure kit! NESCAFE Dolce Gusto

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Nestle Dolce Gusto. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you heard of the new NESCAFE Dolce Gusto machine? It is a capsule based coffee and hot chocolate machine. It makes 8 different varities- Caffè Lungo, Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Mocha, Caffè Americano, Iced Cappuccino…and even a rich Hot Chocolate (Chococino ). Each coffee capsule contains a premium blend of roast and ground coffee from 100% Arabica beans and is vacuum sealed to retain that all-important freshness. Arabica beans were specifically chosen because they yield a more intense and fragrant flavor ranging from a sweet-soft to a sharp-tangy taste. It's completely customizable from the froth, to the heat and to the strength. Simply pop in the capsule and have great coffee (or hot chocolate) in seconds!

The 15-bar (a normal home machine is only 1-bar!!) pressure pump not only produces an authentic coffee shop taste every time, it also creates the all-important and delicious crema layer and a frothy milk to give home-brewed latte macchiatos and cappuccinos, a genuine Italian taste that lasts to the bottom of the cup.

It comes in candy apple red, creamy white, and a sophisticate black, each with chrome accents. For more information check out NESCAFE see for yourself how amazing it is!

PlayStation Move!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

Imagine if you will, that a little genie appeared and gave you and your family the PlayStation® Move. How would this change your family? I know my family would go crazy if that happened to us! We would definitely have family game nights, and have our friends and all the family over! There are so many different games for everyones interests that we would be entertained for hours! Not only do you have the games but now they are more interactive, really getting you involved in the game!

I think the game that my family is most excited to play is TRON: Evolution. My husband is huge TRON fan and can not wait for the movie to come out in a few weeks. Glidden Paint!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Glidden. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love going through the paint department at The Home Depot. The colors are always so fun to look at. Paint testers in tons of colors, color chips, coordinating color ideas, pictures you name it! My favorites are the Glidden, their paint testers are unique from the other brands because they have a brush included in the lid, (Super handy!) and the testers allow you to try out the actual paint color before you commit to buying all the paint necessary for your project. I know first hand how frustrating it is to buy the paint, get home , open it up paint a chunk of the wall and find out it is the wrong shade :( The paint testers are also great for households with children because they can be used to quickly touch up scrapes and stains. Glidden testers are also easier to store than large, messy, half-used cans of paint. They have large paint chips that are easier to compare in a room's lighting, plus the have two coordinating color options right on the back! Check out Glidden’s Top 10 Color Palettes, they are assembled by color experts! Glidden Paint Helps Make Color Easy with the www.Glidden.com Room Painter Check out the options and then you can share your style with friends in Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. Hampton Chain-of-Friends Sweepstakes

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hampton Hotels. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hampton_logo

Check out this sweepstakes! The grand prize winner will receive a free stay for them and one hundred, yes that is 100, of their closest friends at a Hampton for the weekend! That grand prize winner will also receive $5000 to help pay the taxes on that weekend as well.

If you were the grand prize winner who would you invite to your big weekend at Hampton? Would you make it a big family reunion? The biggest girls weekend ever? All of your closest friends, who all invite their closest friends? What would you do for the weekend with one hundred of your closest friends and family? Crash the pool? Huge bar takeover? A grand gathering in the restaurant? The possibilities are endless!

I think that if I were the grand prize winner that I would invite all my family and a lot of friends with me. I think that I would take it as my unofficial wedding reception, two years after the wedding! We got married on an island in the Bahamas during a Disney Cruise and only had a few family members and even fewer friends with us. I know we would do a huge takeover at the bar, and definitely would have to have the big reception type meal at the restaurant, the pool would be a must too! I mean how many times would you have the opportunity to have one hundred of your closest friends and family at the hotel together like that again?

The contest is open to anyone who enters, not just Hilton Honor members or people who have previously stayed at a Hampton. So what are you waiting for? Go, enter now! Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes I am :)

So November was going to be great because my best friend Jill will be in town for a wedding and I haven't seen her in ages. We are going to be hanging out at Disney, Celebration, and Starbucks. Then she calls me up to tell me that she's going to be attending a convention at Coronado Springs in October! Yay, two months in a row, very cool! October is already going to be great because of my birthday and #epicoctober!! #epicoctober is a huge tweetup surrounding the 2010 Mickey's Halloween Family Fun Run 5K at Walt Disney World. I think there is over 50 people signed up to go in our group :)

Road Trip

So it looks like we'll be heading back to Texas at the end of the month. Mostly to visit family again, Kirk's grandmother isn't doing to well. Hopefully we'll get to do some other little things here and there while we are there. Last trip was really just a weekend trip. It's a long drive, 16 hours so I'll have to figure out some things to do along the way. Already have my list of electronics that I need to bring along, I'm sure I'm going to at least try for some geocaches, I want to go back to the zoo too, maybe hit a local comic book store, try to do some scrapbooking or crafting in the car and at night!

Geocaching

So I recently had to redo my geocaching stats because my beloved stats site has decided to end their site due to personal reasons. I checked out a few of them and ended up picking http://www.mygeocachingprofile.com/ which looks pretty good. While playing with the various charts and graphs that it will display for you I realized that I need to do some harder caches!! Seems that the majority of the ones I've done have been a 1 out of 5 on terrain and 1 out of 5 on difficulty, and I've only managed one 4 so far. I need to find some more challenging caches, even if they aren't too close to home. They have the "Well-Rounded Cacher Challenge" as one of the options, it gives each possible rating combination and the first cache that you've done of that rating. This is mine as of today. By the looks of it, I have a lot to get done :)

It looks like we'll be doing another road trip to Texas at the end of the month so maybe I can try to fill in the gaps a little on the way there and back. We'll see, Kirk's not so big on the caching. Although I think I can convince him that I reallllllly need to get some caches in states other than Florida.... I was only able to snag one in Texas the last time we were there and we passed through several other states.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Socialspark_small

Today I decided to sign up for SocialSpark. It is an awesome site that allows you to blog about products that you love and use, sites you visit, all kinds of things! It was really easy to sign up; it only took me about 5 minutes and I was good to go! It seems like there are a ton of opportunities for me to blogabout as well, I am really looking forward to it. Even just at first glance, there are almost a dozen recent topics, and eight featured topics. Did I mention that you get paid to write the blog posts? Not just a few cents here and there, the ones I'm seeing range from as low as ten dollars to as much as two hundred dollars! Hopefully this really pans out and that I am qualified for them. We will have to see how it goes, but I will definitely pass it along whatever happens with it to you! I suggest you check it out too! Sign up for SocialSpark I can't wait to tell you all about the great experiences that I am hoping I will be having with it :) If you have any experience with it, please let me know. Also definitely let me know if you sign up for it too!

twine tastes so good cats ask for it by name

My kitten is so funny! He goes from running around the house for hours at a time playing by himself with his toys, to sleeping in the oddest positions that totally don't look comfortable! How I wish I could be like him sometimes.

and I'm back...

So it's been a while, but I'm still trying :) I'll try to highlight the last 9ish months:

Sept- we had our 1 year anniversary, I can't believe how quickly a year went by!

Oct- yet another birthday, getting me closer to the big 3-0.

Nov- Pretty uneventful, but a good Thanksgiving :)

Dec- 2 years in the house, wooo! Still can't believe how much hard work went into this place, but we love it.

Jan- It snowed! In central Florida!!!! Awesomeness, although most northerners were hating, it was pretty exciting for it to happen.

Feb- I got a new baby niece! She's adorable! She was born on my best friend's birthday, so that was pretty cool. Yeti the adorable kitten turned 1. Does that mean he's not a kitten anymore? :( Oh well, I'm still calling him one, because Waffles has years on him!

March- I entered some more cards into the fair- this time it was the Central Florida Fair. I entered 6 cards, and every single one came home with a ribbon this time! 2 1st place, 1 2nd place and 3 honorable mentions. Not too surprising, most of the stamps came from
https://jessicalynnoriginal.com/ because I am in love with her stamps!!

One of my 1st place ribbon winning cards.

April- My nephew turned 2. How is he really 2 already? He's getting so big! He's definitely at a fun age now though.

May- I got to experience one of the coolest things ever. I got to attend a NASA Tweetup. NASA partnered with Twitter to pick 150 Twitter users to go out to Kennedy Space Center for two days and get to talk with NASA officials, astronauts, got on tours of the property, get up close and personal to STS -132 Atlantis (well as close as you can without actually working on it), tickets to the KSC Visitor Center, and it concluded with watching the launch from the KSC press site right at the countdown clock.

Our great view (photo by Kelly!)

June- I started an etsy store- my shop - to see if I can sell some of the stuff that I'm making with my Cricut (I love that thing!), cards, scrapbooking pages, and whatever else I can think of to make and sell! So check it out, let me know what you'd like to see in there, any tips or hints, and check back often because I just started it 2 days ago :)

Until next time! I promise that it won't be 9 months next time.
